Our trip to Portland,Oregon

July 11th we got on an airplane and were off to Portland. We were so excited to have a family trip together even if it was just for the weekend. Justin just got a new job so he had to come home on Sunday night and my family all came in Monday morning to join me and the girls. All smiles - this was right after we got in our rental car.
We decided to start off the day with the Portland Children's Museum. There were so many fun things to do. Here's Abbi and Maddi brushing an alligator's teeth.
The girls inside a cave.
The girls got to go in this amazing workshop and build anything they wanted. The options were endless- there was every kind of paper, material, and thing-a-bob you could think of. Abbi was intrigued with the wood working area and decided to make a little house.

Maddi was busy grocery shopping while she waited for her turn in the workshop.
Maddi made a really cute basket.
Next- we enter the Clay Corner. The girls really enjoyed making things out of the clay. We couldn't take anything home though because they took a week to get your project back to you.
Chloe enjoyed washing her hands more than playing with the clay.
We had so much fun at the Children's Museum, the girls had so much fun but were really worn out by the end of the day. We decided to find a hotel and then get a bite to eat. And that was the end of our first day in Portland.
